Curriculum Recommendation

The following is a list of recommended curriculum but does not mean these are required. You may use any curriculum you wish.

For grades 9-12 I highly recommend the Penn Foster Curriculum. They combine all 4 years of High School into one program for one set price $1485. This program is fully accredited. They also allow you to Transfer up to 16 Credits from a Public High School and credit your aacount $50 for each one. If you are interested in the Penn Foster curriculum give me a call before enrolling with them to find out how I can save you alot of money.

Time4Learning is a curriculum used for Pre-K-8th grade. This curriculum is $19.95 per month for first child and $14.95 each additional child. www.time4learning.com I especially recommend this program for children learning to read or for children with learning disabilities. If you enroll your child with Time4learning please give my name as a referral. They give $25 for referrals.

Alpha Omega's Switched on Schoolhouse is on compact disc. You do not have to have internet for this curriculum. Switched on Schoolhouse is for grades 3-12. This curriculum is highly recommended by me for first time homeschoolers as long as they are in at least 3rd grade. This curriculum does all the lesson planning and grades 95% of your students work.

Alpha Omega Lifepacs: This is a Christian Based Curriculum. Your student will receive 10 workbooks per subject per school year. K-12 grade

School of Tomorrow's Accelerated Christian Education Paces: Christian Based Workbooks. Your child will receive 12 workbooks per subject per year. For grades Pre-K -12th grade. Paces are a favorite of mine!

I am attaching a price list for anyone who would like for me to order The School of Tomorrow Paces for your child for the 2010-2011 school year. Your child will receive 12 Paces(workbooks) per subject per year. This is an excellent Bible-Based Curriculum. You will also need the score keys. You will need to purchase 1 score key for every 3 paces(some grades require 1 score key per book). You can order a whole year, ½ year or even a ¼ of a years worth at a time.

Each Pace Costs

1st Grade through 4rd Grade (1001-1048) = $2.26 each pace

5th Grade through 7th Grade (1049-1084) = $2.45 each pace

8th Grade through 12th Grade (1085-1144) = $2.75 each pace

American History (New) 1121-1132 = $2.88 each pace

Math (Latest Edition) 1049-1060 = $2.55

Math (Latest Edition) 1061-1072 = $2.68

Social Studies 1073-1078 = $2.68

1st Grade Science has 4 paces that are new 4th Edition and are $2.68 each.

1st Grade Social Studies has 1 pace that is the new 4th Edition that cost $2.68.
